Hello! The first three weeks have gone past so fast.
Mr McCabe has announced the head students for 2017. Unfortunately, I was not one of them, but Bryleella, Daniel, Stageia and Emma all got the head student position. I didn't get any leadership role but it was worth a try. I forgot to say that in my last post that I auditioned for rock band. I had a call back, but didn't make the cut.
On a happier note, we had swimming sports which was really fun. We also started cutting out our jerseys in soft materials tech arts. I am making an all green camo jersey. My friends are very angry because it is plain and "ugly". I think it looks okay. I learnt to use shears. Shears are scissors that are designed to cut fabric. We did asttle writing. I think I did alright. I think the topic was quite difficult to right about. The topic was "Sport is more important than music".
I have really enjoyed making new friends with the years 7s.
Outside of school I have started doing lyrical along with one of my friends Emma. We learnt a couple of lyrical moves and will hopefully learn more next Monday. I've learnt more things in ballet, and am getting stronger feet for pointe shoes.
As I said today, you need to prove yourself as a leader by your behaviour and attitude during the year - don't let yourself be influenced by some friends in our class who are not as focused on their learning! You have a lot to offer as a leader at TAI - think about the student I talked about today!
